#ThinkLanguages Week 2025 Communications Materials
Languages Connect hosts #ThinkLanguages Week, a national celebration of foreign languages and cultures for Transition Year students in secondary schools across Ireland. In 2025, the programme celebrated its eighth year, reaching over 240 schools and more than 21,000 students nationwide. For the 2025 programme, a comprehensive suite of printed and digital communications materials was produced to support the event. Working from an established visual system, the existing design style was applied consistently across all materials, with content updated to reflect the latest programme of activities, events, and competitions. The project included the #ThinkLanguages Week Handbook, alongside a wide range of supporting resources such as workshop listings, registration flyers, participation certificates and entry forms.

The solution
A cohesive and consistent communications suite was delivered across both print and digital formats – providing clear, engaging, and easy-to-use resources for teachers and students. The materials supported the successful rollout of the #ThinkLanguages Week programme in participating schools nationwide, helping to communicate key information effectively throughout the event week while maintaining a unified visual identity. Joint design project with: Marie Vahey Design.

It was a pleasure working with Trish and Marie on #ThinkLanguages 2025. They are highly professional and reliable, consistently delivering high-quality design work. They are also very personable, making collaboration easy, and bring strong creative input that made the design process both straightforward and enjoyable.
